My mom is obsessed with anti-semitism, she's constantly angry and frightened about people hating jews. I was conscerned about the tone this was setting in the family, so i had a talk with her. I said "mom, think about grandma... think about how much you hate grandma. It's easy to hate jews. The klansman feel the same way, they just express it differently."
When I first went to college I was so focussed and directed most people assumed I was asian.
